Subject: spark plug changing IP: Logged
Message: I want to change spark plugs in my 2003 Dodge Dakota V-8 4.7...I can`t find them...are they behind exhaust manifold cover? Appreciate your help.

Message: you have coil over plugs in your engine. there should be 4 black somewhat square looking things in a row on both sides with a wire harness connector on them. those are where your plugs are at. under those coil over plugs. you need to take the air hat off to gain access to all of them. just take the wire plug off one and take a 10MM socket to take the nut pff the coil. pull off and then take a can of compressed air to blow out the hole. then use the plug socket to take the plug out.
its really easy to do. there was a website that someone had that had pictures of the whole process but cant find it now. maybe someone on this site remembers the site.
