Message: BadAssDak,
I dont have any sound clips, but I have a magnaflow single in Dual out full stainless Cat back system on my 99 Dak. I love the sound of it ,it doesnt have that raspy sound that the flowmaster has. I used to have a flowmaster system on my truck. But everyone has their own opinion on which exhaust they like better.

Message: I have a 2000 CC with a Magnaflow single in single out cat back system. I get compliments on it all the time. It has a nice rumble at "normal" driving and when I open it up, it really comes to life. I stronly recommend the Magnaflow. That's my opinion but we all know opinions are like a$$ holes, everyone has one, the all stink, and nobody wants to hear yours.

Message: I agree with Dennis, I've had both, and I'm very happy with my magnaflow. the Flowmaster in my opinion was too loud when you were driving normal. Sometimes I could barely hear the person I was talking to on the phone. With the magnaflow, its pretty quite during regular driving conditions, but you still know its there, and when you step into it, that sound is just beautiful.

Message: If it matters any... I put Hooker AeroChambers on my 96 vette and I will be putting the same on the R/T. It gives off a low... mellow tone at idle and knocked .2 off my quarter mile times.

Message: if u want a loud low deep rumble then i would say to go with the flowmaster original 40 series single in dual out into 3 1/2 inch stainless tips. that is what i run and all i ever hear is how people wanna make their truck sound like mine

Message: Here's a couple videos of my 4.7l Dakota with Delta Flow Flowmaster 40 SI/DO.
It was my Dyno run so you really get the fell for the tone of the exhaust.

Here's just a video clip of the sound of the exhaust in my drive way.

IMO I think some Magnaflow exhaust sounds like a pissed off chainsaw.

Message: Steve are you talking about my sound clips??
My clips lack a bit of depth in detail, because of a cheap recorder I used. It does sound very deep and loud in person and can set off car alarms. But at the same time the interior noise level wont make you go deaf from the drone, that flowmaster's make.

Message: BADASS....I HAVE A '02 QUAD CAB 4.7 W/ GIBSON SINGLE IN DUAL OUT AND IT SOUNDS GOOD. I WAS THE FIRST ONE IN THE COUNTRY TO HAVE PURCHASED THIS SERIES. CNA'T REMEMBER OFF HAND THE SERIES, BUT IT IS A POLISHED STAINLESS FROM MUFFLER BACK. TIPS ARE REALLY NICE. THEY ARE NOT THE SLASH TIPS BUT THE FLUSH CUT. HAD TROUBLE WITH IT FITTING WITH THE SPARE. WENT BACK AND FORTH WITH GIBSON FOR THE FIT, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD A TRUCK BACK AT THERE SHOP IN WHICH THEY WERE USING AS A TEMPLETE. STILL HAD TROUBLE WITH THE FIT. THEY STOPPED MAKING THIS SERIES(FOR THE TIME) COST ME ABOUT 900.00. AFTER WE TALKED AND SUCH THEY OFFERED TO REFUND 600.00 LET ME KEEP THE SYSTEM. SENT ME ANOTHER SET OF TIPS FOR MY TROUBLE. GREAT PEOPLE TO WORK WITH. I DID A LITTLE TWEAKING OF MY OWN AND GOT IT TO FIT. WOULD REALLY LOOK INTO THIS AND SEE IF THEY CAME OUT WITH A UPDATED VERSION YET. GOOD LUCK.

Message: Hey the magnaflow sounds great. I couldn't get the flowmaster clips to run though. I am looking at a flowmaster system made by magnumexhaust (?) that I found on EBAY. I've had trouble finding a system for my 05 Club Cab.
Magnum exhaust sells both the Flowmaster 40, the Super 40 and the Deltaflow. I'm not sure which one to get. I want an aggressive sound but I dont want it to be obnoxious or too loud in the cab. Is the delta flow my best bet? Also, will the system rob me of any torque or HP? That would defeat the purpose... Thanks for helping me out with an OLD question.
