Message: I recently replaced the front pads and rotors, I find now I am getting excessive dusting on the rims. After a long drive I notice that there is a lot of heat from the rotor areas. I realize this is a friction issue, but I do not have the experience to know what to do. I loathe the idea of having someone fix it for me as all the info and parts are out there. My thought is perhaps the calipers are sticking, although I greased the pins.
Help...

Message: Brakes are generally very hot after routine driving. Hot enough to give you a second degree burn on your finger tip. Guess how I know that ;)
Dust is a function of pad material. Ceramic pads are the lowest in dust production. Cheap organic pads are the worst.
