Message: Start of another belly pan gasket leak ? Or did you go to the M1 manifold to prevent that ?
Lead, follow, or get out of the way

Message: If the intake gasket is good, my guess is that your fuel sync is off. This is adjusted by turning the distributor, (kinda like old style timing). Take your ride to a dealer and have them check it with a DRBIII. It will fluctuate while watching it but should be fluctuating from (0) to (-1). This should have been checked with the manifold gasket job. If they don't know what you are talking about, find another dealer. I'd check that gasket again though. Peak down the throttle body with a flash light. If the bottom of the intake is loaded with oil or you can see the gasket pieces, replace the gasket again. They have revised that gasket to a metal one. If they used a paper one last time, it's probably gone again.

Message: Your gonna have a hard time finding a dealer that will turn adjust your timing because these engine have computer controlled ignition. You can turn the distibuter but it wont do anything.

Message: I said..."like" old style timing. And yes, it will do a lot!!! There is a fuel sync in the PCM on 5.9's and 5.2s that is adjusted by turning the distributor. It is very very similar to timing except it affects the fuel map. It needs to be correct or you WILL have pinging problems. I've adjusted many of them.
