Message: I have a 99 Dakota 5.2 Ltr 4*4. Just bought the truck it has 127000 Km on it. The tranny will not shift for all gears till it hit 2500 rpm. Seems a bit high. Does anybody have a solution for this problem

Message: I have tried adjusting the T.V. cable and no matter where it is adjusted it shifts the same.I have found that if I step on it a little harder it will shift a little a bit Quicker than taking it easy. I heard something about a speed sensor on the tranny, if there is could this be a problem. I would like to try and solve myself if possible. The last resort would be a tranny shop

Message: Make sure you have Mopar fluid and a Mopar filter in your tranny. No additives of any sort either. I know from experience, that is where to start from first.
