Subject: Gas mileage question IP: Logged
Message: I own a 1998 Dodge Dakota witht the 5.2-liter V8. Recently, I have replaced my sparkplugs with Bosch Platinums 4+ and have cleaned my fuel system. However, I have noticed a significant drop in my fuel economy and was just wondering if anyone here might have any suggestions on a course of action that I can take to improve my mileage? Any help would be appreciated.

Message: My mileage went down by 50 miles per tank in the last month, and it hasn't come back. I haven't changed anything. I'm beginning to think that a Bad or dirty O2 sensor may be the problem.
