Message: A good code reader will tell you what injector. Not sure if Autozone will be that specific but worth a shot. I assume it is running rough?
I have tripped the same code a couple times on my 92 318. In my case my scantool said it was injector 7. I haven't fixed it yet because I am working towards a hopeful engine swap or rebuild so the truck is not being driven at the moment. You can check the electrical plugs for the injectors. Sometimes they can corrode which will block the signal. The injector itself might also be bad.

Message: Have had same problem with 94 5.2l. It was caused by an injector driver transistor on the ECM board. The device was not bad but a marginal solder joint at manufacture eventually succumbed to the heat generated by the resistance of the poor joint. The connection became intermittent and when it "broke" the injector driver would turn the injector on solid causing fuel to dump into the cylinder resulting in a heavy gas smell and engine miss. I believe a different solder fault on the driver could cause a dead condition. Fixed it by resoldering the joint. Had to remove some of the gel on the ECM board.
