Message: as long as the 318 is a magnum then the motor mounts will be the same. Tranny should bolt right on but you might wanna make sure its the NV3500 to hold up to the power.

Message: Wow I more or less have this same post up. I suppose I should have read through before I posted. I have come across a 79 318 that I would like to put in my 88 dak 3.9. will the stock frame mounts work, and if so.. do they remain where they are? Also will the stock radiator be sufficient (318 is stock ... certainly no fire-breather)? Will i have to remove the electric fuel pump or can i cut the power to it and use the mechanical pump with it still in the tank? Or even use the stock TBI on the 318 carb manifold?
thanks
