Subject: Jeremys 3.7L vs. Mikes 5.2L IP: Logged
Message: Well I was kinda curious on how Jeremy does
on his 40 punch! He tells me that he pulls on
a HEMI almost a truck length when he
punches it around 4800 rpms. That it a weak
spot for a HEMI. This is also not my strong
point either since im at around 26-2700 rpms
and we tested this out since I got good low
end and he has good high end.
We started at 39-40 mph and got on it and by
the time he hit 55 he was a 1/4 of a truck in
front. He shifted to 3rd and I pulled back. By
the time we hit 110 mph I was only 3/4 truck in
front maybe a little less than that.
Obviously he is proud of his SOHC V freaking
6. Im not hating im congratulating for hold with
my slightly heavier V8.
His mods are: CAI, 3.92s and Suregrip
My mods are: CAI, Shift Kit and stock open diff
w/ 3.55s
Now How badazz is his V6 if I pulled on a CC
R/T about this much from 45 mph??
Just thought I would give out some more great
info on the new 226 cu in V6.

Message: 4800 rpms. That it a weak spot for a HEMI. there is no way a 200 hp 6 with a 40 hp "shot" is going to outrun a Hemi at any speed. I offer up my 300C and any paved road or track you select as a race challenge/venue. at 4800 rpm mine is putting out over 330 hp and 380 lbft torque. that is quite far from a "weak spot" would you not say?

Message: Chill Out!! I was refering to Jeremys RPMS at
4800. What I mean a weak spot is where the
Hemi shift point is and its about 40 or so. I
guess I forgot to mention a HEMI TRUCK!!!
Sorry about the confusion but maybe that will
clear up some questions!!
