The biggest problem I see is some one trying to spend a bunch of money to save a little. Its like when people tell me they drive 15MI to save 4-5 cents a gallon. (YOUR NOT SAVING ANYTHING AFTER THE DRIVE!) Say this guy or anyone else for that matter spends an average of 250.00 on upgrades to save fuel milage. Say, on average he gains 3MPG (being generous here)(roughly 30-35MI per tank) about 2.75 Gallons of fuel at about $2.05 a gallon that is a savings of about $5.50 a tank. It would take almost 45 tanks of fuel to recover the $250.00 they spent on mods. To some people its worth it. I do understand the term spend some to make some. BUt, this isn't exactly what I call a money making investment.

I put a MSD 6AL and SS coil on my truck. Did not notice much, if any improvement in mpg. Idles smoother though and seems to rev a little quicker. I only got it because I found a good deal on ebay for it and I am planning an eventual 390 stroker rebuild and supercharger.
