Message: Joe, first of all, what engine do you have. We have to know that. The chip should not be taking place of an IAT. Anyhow, it can be found either on the intake plumbing after the filter or on the intake manifold.

Message: Joe,
I think your 'buddy' may have his head 'under the dash'!
J/K
If it's a 'performance chip', it should do alot more than replace the IAT sensor, which is in the intake by the way. You can't get the Intake Air Temperature, from under the dash.
What did this 'chip' cost? Was this an e-bay scam/ I mean item?

Message: IAT sensor is screwed into the intake manifold. Stock location is on the #2 intake runner I think. I relocated mine to the intake tube instead and plugged the hole.
