Two questions folks, 1) need some brighter headlights, any suggestions? And 2) Any suggestions for brighter driving lights on my R/T? The stock lights in the bumper are a lil bit dim for my taste, is there a brighter bulb I could install or maybe replace the whole unit with something aftermarket? Thanks alot folks.

This is something I was recently going over with my '95 Gen2 Dakota. I want some brighter lights. I was told to look at Xenon bulbs. True HID bulbs require a nice expensive system that discharge power to the bulb in a specific way, so if you threw in an HID (High Intensity Discharge) bulb without that special unit, you'd blow the light rather quickly. If I remember correctly, a set of Xenon bulbs was going to run me around $30~$40 depending on where I purchased them.

I recommend PIAA bulbs. They make numerouse different color shadeas and wattages. Ive been using them ever since ive gotten my lisence. Currently im using the PIAA extreme white bulbs. They are a little pricey, but well worth it. Your probably looking around 60-70$ for a set

I recently found some xenon replacement bulbs for the fog lights. They are awesomly bright, DOT approved and Gaurenteed not to harm you stock wiring. Good Stuff, Huh?

Yeah like I said, Xenons are the brightest you can buy without modding your truck. Only things brighter are HID, and those are expensive. PIAA are good if you like color, but the Xenons are brighter. I actually went to one of the local country shops back home two weeks ago while visiting and they had an in-store demo consisting of Xenon, PIAA, and regular old Halogen. Xenon won, hands-down. In fact that is why PIAA does not compare their bulbs with Xenon bulbs on their site.

Thanks for the tips guys. Guess I'll be lookin into Xenons for my R/T. Definitely not anything colored because I don't drive a honda :P Any suggestions for a good tonneau cover, brands and prices? Would like a flushmount hard cover but doubt I could swing it right now financially.

as far as the tonneau goes, look for somethin used. i just picked up a perfect used factory tonneau for less than half it would cost new. also, APC does make the clear diamond back cut headlights. runs about $200 a set, but well worth it.
