Message: my truck is make a clunk when i shift into drive and reverse its a 93 short bed with 318 2wd with 3.55 any idea what this could be also i already know it isnt the u joints

Message: Might be a tranny mount. Check out your mounts and see if the rubber is still around. Is it a metallic clank or a grinding clunk?

Message: Probably u joints, I work for the government and all our dodges like ram 2500 4x4's do this when you put it in gear.
