Subject: Cylinder Head Volume? IP: Logged
Message: Edelbrock has finally released a new set of cylinder heads for the magnum, as well as a new performer rpm intake. They claim a 180cc intake port, just curious what the stock intake port on a magnum is.

Message: As listed in the Mopar cat. The base Magnum head intake port vol. is 153cc. Aluminum Magnum is 177cc. Magnum RT is 180cc. While I haven't seen the specs on the Eddys, they probably offer other advantages like machined valvespring seats that allow for installed heights of 1.8 inches, where the Mopar gear requires the owner to get the seats machined to achieve this.
