Subject: Sluggish 318 IP: Logged
Message: I have a Dakota ext cab 318 with a 46re trans. The mods i have done are M1 intake, fipk, Msd ss coil, krc 210 cam, MP computer, The truck is very sluggish when I take off from a light up untill about 2500 rpm. What can I do to improve performance? What would be the next best step ?

Message: You need a higher stall torque converter and/or lower gears to better work with the cam you have chosen.

Message: Gaarder: you've increased the airflow bigtime at the engine, but have you done exhaust? If not, all that work is bottled up.
