Subject: superchips...what setting??? IP: Logged
Message: i got the superchips programmer for my 2003 cc r/t. what is the best setting on this the performance or the towing performance. please experienced answers only. ive heard so many different stories i am about to pull my hair out!!!

Message: Sorry can't answer your question but you should have looked into getting the B&G M1 flash. It does a lot more than that tuner will.

Message: I'm not sure, but It would make sense that they would pull out timing for towing performance. I think performance would have more timing and greater power.

Message: Yes, the towing performance does not have as much timing advance as the regular performance program does. It's for reduced chance of pinging under heavy load when towing. In an R/T I'd go straight to the performance setting. It's good for three to four tenths or so in the 1/4 depending on your other mods.

Message: Yea i got the chip for my 03 and it getts better response from the per setting. I could tell the difference on my launch and WOT shifts.
