Subject: dakota sport IP: Logged
Message: i need help boys i have a 94 dakota sport with the 5.2L and it starts but it does not run there is no fire and no gaz. i ve checked the relay theres power going but the computer those not make the connections to the relays the shutdown and the fuel pump so we figuered it was the computer that was malfunctionning we bought one new and it steel does not run then we checked the crankshaft signal there were no signal at all at the computer (grey and black)and no signal a the connecter of the cps so we changed the sensor 2 times and the truck still does not run theres is no signal a the cps it is impossible the sensor is malfunctionning because we tested it a million time we even sand the flywheel to make sure htere would be no rust to interfear with the signal but it still does not work so please help me if you no anything that could help me please tell me

Message: sorry man my first language is french so i do not write in english very often but if you understood what i mean i would apreciate help. i'll make it shorter i do not have any signal at the computer of the crankshaft position sensor and i don't understand why. i have read in shopkey that the cps controls the fuel pump relay and the auto shutdown relay and this is the problem neither of those above are working. and there is power to the relay but the computer is suppose to make the grounds but it doesn't and we checked every wire in the car related to this problem it's all good. i need help bad please help me before i put a bomb in this truck

Message: If you live close to a Dodge dealer, you could try and ask a mechanic to bring the hand-held computer scope out to your truck. Failing that, have it towed to the dealer. The only simple thing I could tell from your problem, is intermittent fuel delivery. Try replacing the fuel filter.

Message: I would replace the crank positioning sensor anyway even though you tested it. It sounds like maybe it is bad but the test just isn't showing it malfunctioning.
