Message: I love these RT's!!! It's like twenty degrees outside and I have no traction at all. Did some mods this year for better high end, you know the normall K&N cold air, 3" MBRP exhaust and chip, and wow talk about smoking my tires right off. Not just chirping, full on smoke generation from the rear no break stands. I had this truck now for 3 years and have never experienced that before. RT's rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#1

Message: Cold air makes for a denser air/fuel charge. Hence better performance.

Message: Altitude also makes a big difference. I found mine to work much better here in NJ at about 100 feet above sea level as opposed to being down in Atlanta, GA or in the smokey mountains of Tennessee. Picking cotton across the street from the welcome station on I-65 heading south into Alabama also posed some performance loss.
I think its time for another road trip in the 'ole dakota again.
