Subject: Overheating IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2000 dakota cc 4x4 the thermostat was replaced,the clutch fan replaced rad. was flushed rad shop dip the tank also and I'm still overheating around 240 the guage reads. The coolant was tested for hydro carbons The rad cap been replacrd and the belt was replaced the water pump was checked and all is good. sending unit they said was ok It runs hot when going up hills and on highway driving . Doesn't run hot at idle can any one help me

Message: Thermostat opening up completely? Pull it and drop it in a pot of water... Heat it up!
Make sure your gauge is sending the info correctly.
