Message: What is the name of the 2 hoses(2 90° angle hoses) that come out from the emissions canister? Are there any other hoses that i should pay attention to when looking for evap (large + small) leaks?
Also, i have a mysterious hose that sits directly to the right of the power steering fluid canister. It has a white tip and looks as if its open.
I have pictures of hoses, and yes i changed my gas cap D:
I appreciate any help,
thank you very much

Message: Code popped up on my Dodge Dakota Crew Cab, checked the forum and got eye’s on all the lines and connections with no leak in sight. I made the appointment for a smoke test at the dealer but the morning before the test I parked the truck with the wheels turned more than normal to the right. When I came out in the morning, I was able to see two sets of wires just behind the rear of the driver side tire. One sets was ripped from its connection Re – connected the wires and the light went away. I also used zip ties so the wires would not have room to come in contact with any road roughage that might get kicked up again.

Message: Following you guys leads, I looked under the truck.About 3 feet in front of the gas tank. Under the drivers seat. I found a hose disconnected. I connected the hose. I'll take it for a ride and see if the check engine light clears.

Message: As for the water on the passenger floor board it is more than
likely from the A/C drain. The foam gasket deteriorates over
time and the water travels on the drain house back thru the fire
wall. I removed the metal cover covering A/C Dani house and
applied RTV around house. This fixed the problem. Yet one
more design flaw from Dodge. I too have the P0442 code and
am trying to locate the culprit. Thanks for all the good leads. I
will spend some time on this and let y'all know what I found.
