Message: Who would probably win between a 1995 Trans Am and a 2001 Dodge Dakota R/T? Both stock. I know the Trans Am has about 25 more hp, but the dakota has about 50 more torque, but the Dakota is about 500 more lbs heavier.

Message: The trans-am,hands down, but it is true they may seem quicker and they are,but there not as fast as you would think i raced one while moving and also at a redlight and he jumped me pretty good out of the hole cause i couldn't hookup but while moving it was prolly about a car lenght at about the quarter mile.Oh yea,and my dakota is a 2001 4.7 cc but i do beat my cousin's 2002 r/t.

Message: Would be depending on things.
My friend could not get below 15's with his 1997-ish Z28 Lt1.
I think traction was a problem.
He bought it used last year. Had sh*tty oil pressure and spun a bearing a few weeks after he raced it a few times.
Just today I was over helping get that bast@rd back into his car.
You have to mount the engine to the front suspension, push it under the car, then hoist it into position!
It actually went together easier than I thought!
We got it in the car and started after a few hours. No accessories hooked up though. Just the engine in place open headers and enough wires hooked up so he could hear it come to life and get a stiffy!
Took a few pics with the camera phone today.
It should be a lot quicker now. It's a 383 stroker with close to 11 : 1 compression and will get nitrous too.
I need to get more done on my Duster. Looks liek I will be LUCKY if it gets done by the end of the year :( But we'll be racing this Z28 by the end of the week if all goes well.

Message: Since I was involved in this CHEBBY car project a litttle bit and hosted a video of his, here's the test run of the engine with it first connected enough to start ---> http://www.paysonarizona.net/Home%20Videos/Frank/Frank_Z28_FirstStart.rm
That is in Real Player format. Only 700k file.
Started open headers and just ran for a few seconds. Got to love how fuel injected stuff starts so easy on new build ups vs. the old carbed and distibutor types of the old.

Message: Yeah, the skateboard was funny but worked liek a charm. He said it was a $30 Wal-Mart board!
Did you check out the video if it starting up?
I really want to move forward with my car. But I'm stuck for the moment and just found out I OWE taxes rather than am getting any back!
