I have a 2001 club cab standard bed 4wd 4.7L dodge dakota and i am getting to the point where i need to get some new tires, but without having a lot of money right now i have no money for a lift, leaveing me to the question of how much tire can i fit on my truck wihtout a lift???

I've heard of people jamming 33s, but they rubbed on the wheel wells alot when the suspension flexed. I'd recommend 31s. 33s don't give too much of and advantage when offroading compaired to 31s (1" more ground clearance, but more weight for the engine to get pushing). The only thing you'd really notice with the 33s is slightly better gas milage when cruising, and slighlty worse when accelerating.
