Message: Actually the rep I talked to said it would. Both shift points and firmness are improved but not ajustable by the user. The other system parameters are ajustable though.

Message: I didn't get info on where the shift points were moved to just that they were improved along with the shifts were firmer than stock.
As for the newer engines, they are working on those now for the next release of the programmer.

Message: The Superchips tuner does not move the shift points, but overall the performance gains are pretty good for the money spent.

Message: I guess the two reps from Superchips I was talking to at the Performance Warehouse show were wrong.
Where did you get your information?
Remember that this is the new program available after May 21st that includes Dakotas and Durangos.

Message: Firming shift points and moving the rpm at which the transmission shifts are two entirely different things.
Trade shows usually have sales geeks, not techical folks. I know some of the people closely involved on the tech side.

Message: For the full rundown, best to ask Superchips. I just know the tranny shifts were not an option for change in the toolkit they are using. It does have some torque converter lockup control that is over and above what HyperTech gives you, but beyond that I don't know about the added features.
This is a canned tuner program uploaded the same way HyperTech uploads theirs, so there are no fuel or spark parameters that you can personalize. I'm hoping they'll put a "hotrod" program in there for headers/CAI equipped trucks, but we'll have to wait and see on that one.
