I want to say that first off i was sorta disapointed at my times. I went to wentzville missouri to go drag raceing for the first time. I have a 2001 R/T cc. I have so far done the following modifications...
Cold air induction
M1 2bbl intake manifold
Hypertech Power Programmer III
Positive Performance Headers
Gibson Single 3 inch cat back exhaust
Got rid of all the cats
High performance plugs,wires, cap, rotor
180 thermostat
In my 2 poor attempts the first time i ended up in the 1/4 with an 15.301 @ 93.17mph
The second run i deflated my tires to 25lbs because i spun threw 1st. Iended up with a 14.935 @ 92.95mph.
Are these about right for my truck. I thought with the mods that i have done so far i would be around the high 13's or low 14's. Like I said it was my first time and i know i will need practice...but still...i thought i sould be faster. What am i doing wrong?

Oh, i almost forgot. There were 2 other R/T there also...another 01 and a 99 both cc. The guy with the 01 ran an 15.9...all he had done was a computer and cold air induction...the other guy ran a 15.4...he had the same as the other guy. We were all pretty disapointed.

I would guess that the 15.4 time is close to a stock time for a CC.With a bit more practice launching and he could get low 15's

First off, what were your 60' times? If they were above 2.1's you were spinning alot. I have a 99 r/t with all your mods plus 1.7rr's and a couple other small things and my best has been a 14.3 run. If those 60' times are high than you are right in the range of normal. Better traction and more practice and you should be in the mid 14's.

Your times and your mph indicate you spun off the line. Probably pretty bad too. If possible, post your entire slip - 60', 1/8th mile time and mph, as well as 1/4 times and mph.

Also, what was the weather like? Temp? Humidity? Head Wind? Etc... And the track elevation??

All of these factors have an effect on track times.

Your 60' times are what's killing you. 2.5 OUCH!

Knock those down to 2.0 and you'll shave 3-5 tenths off your overall ET. Get some traction and you'll be in the mid/low 14's. Getting into the 13's will take a few more mods with a heavy CC.

I see you list a cold air intake. What exactly are you running? Are you still using the stock airhat? Also, you don't list a TB. Are you still running the stocker?

I went with the K@N cold air induction...it came with the whole tubing, filter, and heat shield. I am still needing to buy a tb. I am not sure what to go with. I have been told an F&B but they are about 200-250 more than the Fastman. I don't know which to get. I am also trying to deside what would be better...the 50 or 52. I am going to try to get a supercharger next year...but that is still iffy. I should be able to afford that in May. Then the month after i want to get the 1.7 roller rockers. Which ones did you go with? In about 2 week I am going to buy a shift kit to throw in it. I have been told that the TCI is the best. So that is what i am going to go with there.

The K&N is the way to go.

As far as TB, there is a lot of discussion about them. I went with the F&B 52MM. Since you plan to go S/C I'd recommend the 52mm since they seem to be the choice for forced incudtion and/or heavy mods.

F&B vs. Fastman?? I'm not going to get into that argument. I have yet to see any real dyno number comparing them side by side. I went with the F&B cuz I had the extra money.

I went with the Harland Sharp 1.7 rr's. Non-adjustable so they were easy to install, no messing with adjutments, low (no) maintenance, and the price was right. If you're planning ona cam, you might want adjustable though.

Can't comment on shift kits. Haven't researched that yet. I know one of our local guys was having some issues with his TCI and a resistor or something. Ask over on the Delphi board and I'm sure he (or someone) can chime in on their experience.

Sounds like you have a good solid plan. Not sure how the Hypertech will like the S/C and numerous mods though. I can't get one for my 2002 so I can't comment on them either. Right now I'm still waiting for another option to the high dollar B&G Flash.
