Message: I don't see why not either. If you have a working electric fan and your coolant system is in good shape, you shouldn't have a problem -- unless you're doing some heavy duty towing in stop and go traffic.
Without my clutch fan my truck warms up real quick -- which is the biggest bonus for me.

Message: I have a 00 cc with the 4.7 I took the cluch fan and have zero problems. And I tow all the time about 6000lbs never gets over 190. If im still it sometimes get to 210 but thats when the electric fan kicks in.
Adam The cluch fan is there so when the engine gets to a certin temp it kicks in and cools the engine. Taking it off help warm the engine faster and saves some gas. ( less stuff To turn )Its on the water pump. one bolt reverse threats no problem
