Subject: Spark Plug Question IP: Logged
Message: I was changing my spark plugs over the weekend and noticed something that cought my eye. On the #3 and #4 plugs I saw an open electrical connection attached to the posts of the spark plugs. Anyone know what these are and should they be connected to anything electrically???
Thanks,
Scott

Message: Do you mean on the coils? The only connections I have are where each coil is plugged in.

Message: J, I'm sorry......I forgot about the coils on each plug wire. I meant the ones that are in addition to the wires connected to the plug connectors. They are held on by the 10mm nut that holds down the sparl plug wires.
Demon, I see an open spot for wires to be connected.
Thanks.
