Subject: Drilled & Slotted disks IP: Logged
Message: Has anyone tried the drilled and slotted disk that JCWhitney sells for $70.00 each??
I was thinking of replacing my front disk with these but I don't know how good they are.
Thanks

Message: Have not tryed those.... I have used the Powerslot and SSBC... powerslot were good for the price but wore out kinda fast... the SSBC slotted front dics with the rear disc conversion work really well... I would stay away from drilled rotors, unless they are designed to be drilled, and were drilled by a CNC machine in the correct location they can compromise the strength... I would use drilled rotors from a good company like Brembo, but these hand drilled units are scary.
