Message: thats what I mean, don't expect too much heat if you have a 180* thermostat in there and live in a fairly cold climate.
Put back the factory rated 192* or 195* one and enjoy the heat.

Message: changed motor blower resistor, stll won't work flushed out
system still won't work plugged in new blower motor still no
heater. When you speed up the blower would quit then when you
level your speed it would come back on also at first startup it
won't come on right away. help it also has the 190 thermostat
new

Message: I have checked all the vacum lines the one on the fire wall falls
off once awhile but when I put it back on It would work. It was
working just went out after it set for couple of days it wouldn't
work. I plugged the fan in direct to battery and it works great

Message: check if the coolant hoses are plugged at their proper in / out locations,
try switching them around see if it changes anything

Message: It sounds like we need to start buying chevy or ford dodge needs
to address this problem. I have vacum to the door and the
switch except vent and I have volts to the hi low switch. still
nothing any more solutions

Message: since we are on the subject...i have a 93 cc v8 dak. the heat works well after it warms up, but when i stop at a light it starts to blow cold air. i have changed the water pump,thermostat(195 degree),engine cooling fan clutch, radiator hose(upper)and i flushed the radiator. anti freeze mix is 50/50.

Message: I got my heater fixed after 2 weeks of no heat I took it to a
Electrical shop and found a broken wire in the steering wheel at
first I found electrical tape plugged up my thermostat changede
it the water temp went up to 200 this cost me $55.00 for the
thermostat and electrical wire fixed and a used selector switch

Message: I had heater core replaced and after this my
blower is not blowing as fast as it used to. It
has to be on high to get barely enough air out of
dash vents. Also defroster air not blowing hardly
at all even on high. Can hear blower working as
usual though.

Message: I have a 2002, so far I have replaced the
resistor twice. It is still not working properly.
Resistor gets burned out and can smell
something burning when that happens. I have
to tap the wires to come on, sometimes it
doesn't. I am now going to replace the blower
motor and resistor(once again)with a new
wiring harness $84 Can. Blower $84 U.S. I hope
it will work. Plus my headlights keep burning
out. Annd now interior light just went out. Time
to buy a new truck, but what kind? Lol
