Message: I had a set on my 97 5.2 and had no problems untill I installed an electric fan. I also have the heavy duty alternator that came with tow package. If you have the heavy duty alternator it shouldn't be a problem.

Message: Rob I know this is an old post but you can run the underdrive pulley on the crank to slow the accesories and install a smaller pulley on your alternator to avoid charging problems. This is what the power amp pulleys are. This means you need a 5 1/2" on the crank, a 1 7/8" on the alternator and leave the rest. If you have a 97 or older you can also change your water pump pulley. Keep in mind the smaller crank pulley has already slowed the water pump by 25%.
