Marty,
A new intake manifold thread here. Since you have opened up the 4.7 intake and I assume the HO intake..... are there any differences beyond the runner length?

What I am getting at is this:

Will there be a street-oriented intake to go with the upcoming 218 cams? What would the feasible power range be? Estimates on power output?

More-over, will we be able to send you our factory core to get it modified, or will we have to supply an HO core?

Alex,
check out these threads for the differences in the regular and HO manifolds:

I imagine what Marty is developing will look not anything like the Mopar ones .. my guess is it'll be more of an M-1 flavour.

c'mon Marty, spill the beans! Let us know how its going. :)

Well, Marty mentioned in the "cams" post that his will have 9" runners and that it will be pretty race specific. I don't really want the torque peak at 6000, but maybe at 4500-5000. Since the KRC 218 cams will be a street-oriented cam (rather than the wild-ass race cams he is proposing), I was just wondering if we would see a street-oriented manifold based on the factory piece (as opposed to some wild-looking cross-ram piece).

The trick here is to pop the hood and have nobody suspect a THING. The only obvious changes on mine right now are the throttlebody and the cold air tube. I'd like to keep it that way.... ahahahhaha

The 206/218 cam is a street oriented cam the 218/218 is the race oriented one. That is the one with the 9" runners.
