Subject: JBA Header Sale... IP: Logged
Message: At truckperformance.com they have the JBA headers for the 4.7 on sale for $340 shipped! Best price I've seen for them so far.
My question.....I've got a '01 4.7 CC 3.55 auto with intake, and catback so far. Plus!...I've got $400 coming to me in a week from Chrysler due to an auto-draft error.
Is blowing that $340 worth the header mod?, Or should I blow the $400 else where for other mods....
Any help is greatly appreciated, as the sale ends like the 7th I think,,,,and I've got the itch for new things for my toy. :~)

Message: From what I have read headers are the last thing you should do on the 4.7, the manifolds flow very well in stock form only 2-3 hp going to headers. A 70mm TB would be my next choice.

Message: I've got them for my 4.7. CW is pretty right. They'd work better if you were gonna supercharge your truck later. I also have a leak at the flange that i still haven't resolved completely. Next to no improvement. 340 is a nice price for headers, however. Definitely get the ceramic coated option if you can. Definitely worth it. Won't rust or warp as easily
