Message: try a accel or msd. my bud has an accel on his 98 318 and it made a lil difference in the pep. i think it is worth 40 bucks especially down the road when bigger mods come say like heads and cams and more fuel delivery. then you will need more spark to help burn the fuel.

Message: I would have to agree with kerleyfries on that one the Accel is a good one to go with and definitely worth the 40 or so bucks. It will help smooth out the idle and increase throttle response I believe the part number is 140002, but i may be wrong. If Harlow were here he would say combine that with a new set of Autolites to complete the package. I have read reports of the MSD coils packing a little to much resistance I believe is what it was and frying the PCM. You might want to do a search on here for ignition coils and see what you hit... Good luck

Message: The part number for the coil is 140021. Retails for $41.99 at my local Jegs. Not sure about anywhere else.
If your Dak is 98 and up, you will want to get the adapter harness, 140021AH.
