Subject: Transmission Problem IP: Logged
Message: When I was trying to leave for work today I was unable to get my
truck to engage in any gear. I started with reverse and it was the
same as if it was in neutral. When I tried to put it back in park it
sounding like a light grinding and then, again, like it was in
neutral. I then tried to go into drive with the same results. With
the car off as well I am not able to get in any gear, park included.
Any thoughts? My friend thinks it might be a linkage problem. I
am able to cycle through every gear on the column, but it is as if
I am doing nothing.
Thanks,
-John
