Subject: Almost stall when gas pedal is hit IP: Logged
Message: When I start my 2000 4.7L 2wd dakota, it starts fine but when I hit the gas pedal it almost stalls. There are no codes given on the odometer with the on/off/on/off/on of the key. I pulled the throttle body off this afternoon, pulled the 2 sensors off and gave the TB a really good cleaning. I then took the IAC and sprayed it down till I had clear fluid coming from it. I wiped it down and set it aside to let it dry, reisnstalled it, the TPS, and the throttle body and fired it up. The same almost-stall is there.
Whats my next step? Thanks for the help up front.

Message: Ita actually more of a "hesitation" than almost stalling. I have read about it here before but its been a couple of years. I know someone here has an idea of what may be teh cause.

Message: I think it would be the MAP sensor. I recently replaced the heads and put in the HO cams on my 02 and put in the 04 HO style intake...well i left on the sensor it came from the junkyard with and it acted like that. Replaced it with mine of my old intake and it ran great...but only hesitated/stalled just off idle.
