Subject: Buttons not working IP: Logged
Message: I've encountered several instances of buttons not working in my
97 dakota 4wd. I'm posting to see if there are any common fixes
for any of them. They include:
-overdrive. Used to work most of the time, now not at all.
-overhead lights. Sometimes come on when I turn ignition on
but never by just pressing the button.
-cruise control. Usually turns on but sometimes doesn't...is
actually more reliable now than when I first got the truck.
Any suggestions? TIA.

Message: Central timer module controls all that.
Check all the connectors by unplugging them then plugging them back in to renew the connections. See if that fixes it.
