Message: Lately my steering wheel has been pulling to the right - If I let go of the wheel, it shoots over hard. I also keep getting the P0551 error so I am in the process of replacing the power steering pressure switch. The fluid is fine and it doesn't seem overly stiff. The tires were already a little worn, so I can't tell if alignment is the problem. If that seems likely, I will take it in to be serviced, but I had it inspected recently and while I know they weren't specically checking for this, they did drive it into the garage and I would've thought they might've noticed.
Could this be a combination of alignment issues and power steering pressure switch, or am I looking at the possiblity of my steering column or pump going bad?

Message: your problem lies in 1 of 2 areas.... ethier you have some steering parts worn out like a inner tierod or an outter tierod which can cause it to pull left or right with a slight drift to a hard drift.... the other issue can be that you have a bad tire up front and the steel cords are coming undone and that too will make it pull left or right with a slight drift or hard drift.... jack up the front of your truck with both wheels off the ground..... grab the tire and try moviong it left to right to see if there is any play in the tierods... all you gotta do is wiggle the wheel... if that is all good swap out the tires from left to right.... if the pull goes away or changes direction then you gotta tire issue and need new tires.... if pull still exsist in the same direction then your alignment must be out and will need to be re-aligned....
