Subject: steering noise IP: Logged
Message: truck makes a klunking sound when makeing a trun."just one klunk, then it seems fine" just starting happening last night. and only dose it at low speeds"parking lots", and not all the time. had u-joints replaced during factory recall in 2005, fluid levels good. 100k miles on the 4*4 auto dakota. thanks!

Message: It starts as a klunk and pop. It could be lots of things down there
actually. My control arm bushings after about 100,000 miles of
city driving started klunking... then it developed into a very
annoying sqweak. So I mean, It could also be the ball joint
popping. So you should just get it checked by a mechanic.

Message: Along with a broke torsion bar mount or worn bushings it could also be a bad shock also.
