Message: aone thing they won't tell you, for street driving or even hauling or cruising the hiway you WILL NOT see any difference in performance or milage, the stock electronic ignition is good up to about 4500 rpm, ONLY if you are racing at the strip and/or are running that engine over 4500 ALL THE TIME will a MSD system make any difference. to run at that rpm on the hiway you would need an 8:1 rear differential instead of a 3.9 or a 3.55 in it. carefully consider this before buying something that will end up being a waste of money if not running it up tight.
as far as the line about how the spark is multiple and it promotes complete combustion.
that is hogwash! yes it does have multiple spark signals for each plug, BUT, once the fuel has burned in the area about 1/4 inch around the plug as it does during the first spark, the second spark only tries to burn the already burned fuel in that 1/4 inch sphere that is rapidly expanding burning fuel meaning that:
YOU CANNOT BURN ALREADY BURNED FUEL A SECOND TIME, THE PLUG IS SPARKING A SECOND OR THIRD OR FORTH OR WHAT EVER TIMES IN WHAT AMOUNTS TO EXHAUST GAS AND SINCE IT IS EXHAUST GAS AND HAS NO FUEL IN IT TO BURN IT CANNOT CAUSE WHAT IS STILL BURNING TO BURN ANY BETTER. it is sota like trying to get more oxygen out of air you just breathes, you already breathed that particular puff of air once and filled it with CO and filled a bottle with that exhausted breath, now you want to re-inhale that CO from that same bottle and try to get non-existant O out of it. it don't work, but you will pass out.
