Message: No on push rods. I'm doing the same thing. Got the Harland Sharp 1.7s. As far as the valve covers I know someone on here has said they had the same roller rockers and didn't modify their valve covers because of any clearance issue. I wound up buying some modified ones anyway to be safe. You can always either beat the baffling in yourself 1/2" or so or just buy them modified from socaldakota.com. Do not remove the baffles all together because all your oil will go into your intake.

Message: I have the Crower 1.7rr. You keep the same pushrods and just hammer the oil baffles down a little bit. No big deal. It took me about 2 hours to completely install and adjust them.
