Message: "the picture you provided shows no proof of anything you have stated. It just shows some spark plug wires, an unhooked harness and a check valve."
I guess you're blind. There is no unhooked harness, the EGR transducer's two-wire (electrical) harness is plugged in right at the black arrow in the picture. You also completely ignore the quote from the 1992 Dakota Chrysler Factory Service Manual, page 25-13. I'll scan it for you, but you'll claim I have a print shop in my basement and an art studio, and just forged it.
But then, you will only see what you want to believe. If you can't bring any knowledge, you have to bring insults, and that's the only skill most of you seem to have.

Message: Hate to differ with you Larry, you'r the king of Daks, but my 93 (Bought Oct 92) has an elec connection to the EGR transducer (georgia VIN -I live in FL)It hasn't thrown a code with my current exhaust setup but performance sucked w/o a cat aaand no backpress to the EGR (low end response) and a full 3 inch setup for normal driving. Much better with a new OEM cat and a little BP showing at the transducer

Message: And that's all I was saying, all along. I have scanned 4 pages in pdf format, it's 11 Mb, so you'll need broadband to download it, but it clearly shows the mistake Larry made, and where he got the illustration of EGR without an electric solenoid: the 2.5L engine only. That has a vacuum transducer with a separate external EGR purge solenoid which DOES have an electric connection. The V-6 and V-8 have the electric transducer. This all got to be such a big deal because Larry simply can't admit when he's wrong, and a large group of "enthusiasts" respond to any criticism of him with grade-school insults (as he did, too).
Here is the scan from the FSM:
