Subject: Tranny shifting wrong? IP: Logged
Message: Sometimes when i am getting on it the
tranny doesnt want to shift out of first!!! This
incase just hts the rev limiter over and
over....so I heard if you adjust the TzV cable to
make it shift sooner...any how to fix
this...cause I just had it rebuilt...and the guy
who rebuilt it told me that i need to adjust that
cable.
Any Ideas??

Message: yeah, mushier smoother shifts. (too far in that direction will cause slipping)

Message: Yeah...the speedtweaks site will tell all. Helped me better than my Hayne's Manual. lol
My truck shifts a lot better now after adjusting the tv cable, although I still have the initial slippage on cooler mornings. I'm thinking it may be the transmission temperature sensor.
