Message: what is the difference between a cold air intake on ebay for $25 and a K&N for over $200? Are they the same?

Message: Oh I see what you're asking now. Well the cheap item for $25 may not be a custom fit for your TB and what not whereas the pricey K&N FIPK will be. It's better it's made out of some plastic like material versus metal which stores heat and heats the air going through it. The $25 item is probably a universal fit and maybe really low quality in design. I got a great deal on an FIPK on ebay. I like it because it was a perfect fit and it's got that factory finish on it.
