Subject: How big TB IP: Logged
Message: im lookin on the net and i see that a 52mm TB is gunna give a v8 the best performance, now does that applie to a v6 as well or should you go with a 50mm for a v6

Message: 52mm for a V6 is too big. You will loose alot of
low end. A plain stock V8tb depending on your yr
of truck will work just fine.
48mm, torqe step makes it 50mm. Carpart.com may
have some used ones around $100. An aftermarket
fastman or F&B is even better. Will loose no
low end and gain all up and down.

A bigger TB will lose low end and why would you
even try it when the bores in the manifold are
only 48mm
