Message: I know that this subject has been beat to death, but I want to change my plugs and wires and don't know what is the best. I have a few mods, and was going to but in the Autolite AP3923s. Is there a better plug and what are the best wires and caps and so on? I don't have the money to put in an MSD6A or anyhting like that, but just want to know what is the best plugs, wires, cap etc.... Do i also need to change the starter coils? Heard that changing to a hotter plug will burn up starter coils and so on. just a little help to separate fact from fiction. Thanks, Matt

Have not a clue what this is about
Napa Mo26 and MO28 solid brass incerts cap and rotor around $15
Taylor 8mm or the MSD for same year 5.2 Dak will
fit perfict both around $60
Autolite
Try the AP3923 but gap them .005 more than what
the factory calls for on your truck

Message: Do I need to change starter coils to keep them from burning up, or is that not necessary with the Cap, Rotor, Plugs and wires? If so what are good replacements?
