Message: You can use either a big crescent wrench, a 7/8" box-end (remove the connector first), or an O2 sensor socket. If it's been on there for quite some time, be careful not to bust your knuckles when pulling it off.

Message: A 7/8 combination wrench will work to remove the old O2 sensor, but because of the connectors bulk, it will not clear the inside of the box end wrench, so you will have to cut the connector off. And believe me, using an open end wrench is almost a guaranteed purchase of a new Y-Pipe, because you stripped the O2 sensor. Buy the O2 sensor socket, it's not a gimmick, and is worth the saved frustration

Message: Is there a way of knowing which sensor is bad? My truck brings up the code p 0152, I looked up what it meant on allpar.com and it says "Oxygen sensor voltage problem" I really don't want to buy them both if I can help it. Any advice???????

Message: The front sensor is the one that manaages your fuel mixture the one after the cat just tells the computer that the cat is working. If you replace the front 02 and still get the 0152 code then the back o2 sensor is not working or the cat is not working.

Message: 01Dak, i have a feeling that your O2 sensor is not the culprit, it is the wire going from the battery to the O2 sensor. You're going to have to find the wire that goes to the O2 sensor with +12 volts going to it, and run a jumper wire from that directly to the postive lead on the battery, because the power wire has shorted out somewhere between the O2 sensor and the positive lead on the battery.
