Subject: Valve springs IP: Logged
Message: Has anyone installed Crower 68405 valve springs? Is there anything special about installing the inner valve spring. The kit included a spring cup, but that raises the inner and outer spring up the distance of the factory spring step. It just doesn't look like something is right. If it's wrong, valves may try to exit through the oil pan. Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Message: Contact crower and see what they say, I always
went with the R/T springs retainers and keepers
they go right on the V6 heads good for 6500 rpm
Never tried the crowers

Message: Trying to get a mental picture of this. What looks wrong? I'm guessing it looks wrong in an un-installed state, meaning the retainers and locks are not in place?
