Subject: difference between a 96 and a 2000 V6? IP: Logged
Message: well i had to trade my 2000 for a 96, to cut my payments down,(buying a house) and they both had the 3.9L V6 is there any difference in the motors , or computers from 96 to 2000, other than the air intake?

Message: Yes...there's quite a few changes in the PCM program. Also, some of the sensors have been moved around as well as possibly the injectors (depends on the late or early 2000 models). The engines are the same though.

Message: what about the differences in the premagnum and magnum v6s? i used to have a 90 model and now i have a 95. both had the v6 and were clubcabs. the 90 was an LE and the 95 is a SLT. all i know is that my 95 is slower than the 90.
