Message: I know that you need PVC tubing with either a 90 degree elbow or two 45 degree elbows, a filter -
However, what do you need to connect the filter to the tubing and the tubing to the airhat?
Thanks for the help

Message: Go to any home improvement supply store and ask for a 3x3" flex coupling they will know what your talking about, it's a rubber coupling with hose clamps on each end to tighten 2 45 degree elbows and a 3 ft piece of sch 30 3 inch PVC, make sure the elbows are sch 30 also I used the RU-3130 K&N for my 3.9 and it seems to be working fine, I couldn't believe the difference it makes when you punch the gas..the 3130 filter is a 3-1/2" mounting flange, 4-5/8" Filter base diameter, 3-1/2" filter top diameter and 7" filter length now most people talk about the 9 in filter so I'm not sure if I undersized this or not

Message: I was wondering if the cold air filters get clogged easily just because of where they are located?
