Message: I don't understand your description of where the leak is. If you are describing the area between the oil pan and the transmission pan, that is the inspection cover that you remove to unbolt the torque converter from the flex plate. There is no gasket on this cover. If fluid is coming out of the inspection cover, the front seal is blown and the trans will have to come out. If the trans pan is leaking, tighten the bolts. Always check the the 0 ring on the dipstick and where any sensors go in the trans as sources of leaks.

Message: Trans has to come out, pull off torque converter, pull out old seal, drive in new one, replace torque converter, re-install trans. Make sure seal contact area on converter is not messed up or grooved. Ain't easy but is straight forward.

Message: Another Question; I forgot to add that I checked my trans. fluid, and it was low so I added some, will adding too much cause this to leak??

Message: Check fluid level in neutral. If overfilled, it should come out of the vent which could be running down to where you were talking about. Could have also blown the seal out.

Message: I believe you would call that a tremendous leak. You better
crawl under the truck and try to find it or take it to a shop.
