Yes I am sure it will work on your 94 its a 99501s
jet stage 2 chip.

You could contact jet and check for sure but the
94 # is 99401s same series chip.

http://www.jetchip.com/

I just wrote to them to find out

I payed $230 will sell for half how does $115
sound, I have the origanal box and instructions
that it came with.

What I noticed most was better gas mileage off
idle response and better low end. It did seam to
add a little power around 3000 rpm also. the jet
chips work from 2500 up but not at WOT that is
why people see no gains at the track with them
they were not designed to work at WOT.

The reason you get better response is the chip
faking out the IAT and modifying the tps signal
at all rpms to give you a 2 to 3 degree timing
advance.

I than got an ASE which is no longer avalible in
the US and I am holding on to that.

Now running a 92 mopar performance pcm

Jet says it will not work on your 94 the mopar
comps were made for 92 93 and will work up to 95

They do not work at WOT because at WOT you are not
reading all the sensors here look at this and you
will see what I am talking about (open loop)

http://www.speedtweaks.ca/tipsandtricks.php#openclosed

I will just pop it up on ebay one day or just keep
it.

I have a '94 Dakota w/a 3.9 that I have done
quite a fair amount of mods to. Heads have been
ported, a little bit of cam w/a lot of lift, mod-
ified factory intake and V8 T.B., headers w/a true
3" exhaust, Jacobs ignition, fuel system upgrades,
Powerdyne supercharger, and a host of other mis-
celleneous modifications. Superchips reprogrammed
the computer a couple of years ago before I added
the blower. Now that it has forced induction com-
puter reprogramming has become much more of an
issue. I have a J&S Knock sensor kit that I bought from Hughes Engines which has made it poss-
ible to run the blower with 6 lbs. of boost. I
have searched for about the past couple of years for someone to reprogram this thing, but the only
place I have found is ASE chips. You would have
to send it to Mexico to get it reprogrammed. Also
KRC performance sells a stand alone system which
allows the user to fully remap fuel delivery,
timing, and raise your rev limiter. I have re-
cently discovered that Hughes engines will soon
be coming out with an intercepting add-on system
which should be able to do the same thing, provided that you have access to a decent lap-top.
It is also supposed to cost significantly less
($500-$600 as opposed to KRC's pricey sum of $2500
and Hughes' kit probably won't be available until
sometime early next year). Although ASE can re-
program your computer, if your anything like me
you're always making changes to your vehicle, and
it would be more prudent to be able to "tune up"
your vehicle any time you want without having to
send your computer away for a week and shell out
a few bills each time you make changes.

Thanks vern, but I don't have that kind of cash, I will pretty soon I'm hoping. I don't know if I'll drop that kind of cash on a computer though. I'll get back with you.
